Our story.
Most organisations spend years trying to build recognition. They invest in logos, colours, campaigns, websites, presentations, videos and content. Yet many still struggle with the same challenge: being remembered.
We believe that's because recognition alone isn't enough. The strongest brands don't just have assets people recognise. They have assets that people connect with.
For decades, some of the world's most successful brands have used characters to build that connection. Not as mascots or gimmicks, but as strategic brand assets that make messages more memorable, more engaging and easier to understand.
Yet despite the evidence, most organisations have never been shown how to create a character properly.
That's why we created the Character System. A structured approach that combines strategy, storytelling, design and a clear framework to create characters that are distinctive, useful and built to last.
Characters with a clear role. A clear voice. A clear purpose. And a clear framework for how they should be used. Because when a character is built correctly, it becomes more than a campaign asset. It becomes part of the brand itself.

Who we are.

David Thomas
David has spent his career helping organisations build brands that are distinctive, memorable and built to last. He founded Brandbornn from a conviction that brand characters remain one of the most underused and undervalued assets available to organisations, and that most have never been shown how to create one properly. He leads strategy and client relationships.

Przemek Czajicki
Przemek brings deep expertise in character design, visual identity and creative systems. He has developed characters across a wide range of sectors and contexts, with a particular focus on creating work that is distinctive, expressive and built for long-term use. He leads the creative and design process at Brandbornn.
Where it all started.
The real spark came in 2024, when we helped our sister agency create the Make it Memorable character for an enterprise client. AI image generation was still in its early days, but we saw the potential immediately and moved fast. The character went on to generate huge attention, pick up awards and prove that a well-built brand character can cut through where traditional brand assets struggle.
That project taught us two things. First, characters work best when they are built with strategy, not just novelty. Second, the tools were advancing so quickly that staying ahead of development had to become a habit. We were already ahead then. We've kept that lead ever since.

We are Cyber Essentials certified, demonstrating that we have the foundational controls in place to protect against the most common cyber security threats.
ISO 27001
We are working towards ISO 27001 certification, the internationally recognised standard for information security management. We expect to achieve this as the business grows.
